Mizzou's Aldon Smith to 49ers

With the 7th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Missouri DB Aldon Smith.

Patrick Peterson goes to Arizona Cardinals in 2011 NFL Draft

With the 5th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals choose Patrick Peterson, the dangerous DB from Louisiana State University.

Patrick Peterson, often compared to Atlanta Falcon star DB Deion Sanders, performs Kickoff return and punt return duties, giving the Arizona Cardinals a deep threat in special teams.

A. J. Green chosen by Cincinnati Bengals 4th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft

With the fourth pick of the 2011 NFL Draft, The Cincinnati Bengals chose A. J. Green, the 6'4 211lb wide receiver from the University of Georgia.  Green finished the 2010 season with a team high 57 catches for 848 yards and nine touchdowns with Georgia.

Marcell Dareus selected by Buffalo Bills 3rd pick in 2011 Draft

With the third pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, The Buffalo Bills select Marcell Dareus, the quick and powerful DT from Alabama.  Marcell Dareus is said to be dominant with proper pad level, and may need a little help with technique.  Dareus also has never been 100% healthy for a full season.

The Buffalo Bills ranked last in 2010 in overall defense so this pick definitely makes sense.  Dareus is being compared to Vince Wilfork, the center for the New England Patriots.

Carolina Panthers Select Cam Newton 1st NFL Draft Pick

Talented, and most likely criminal, Cam Newton was selected first by the Carolina Panthers in the 2011 NFL Draft.  Newton was caught stealing a laptop computer from a fellow student while at The University of Florida, accused of academic fraud, and his shady father Cecil Newton tried to extort money from several teams who were interested in Cam.  Through some smooth shimmy shimmy coco pop talking and some slippery lawyers, Cecil was able to avoid permanent damage to his son's career despite his ghetto street antics.

Cam Newton led Auburn University to the BCS Championship in 2011, and also won the 2010 Heisman Trophy.

Coaches and professors who were around Cam Newton claim that he is easily influenced by other people, and tended to "hang around the wrong crowd" and has an incredibly inflated ego.

Marty Hurney, GM of the Carolina Panthers has never taken a quarterback in the first round of the draft, but he's got his hands full now with Cam Newton.  There is no doubt that this kid has a lot of talent, but as we've seen time and time again in the NFL, a bad apple can definitely spoil the whole bunch.  Good luck Carolina.
