The Jayhawks' impressive home win streak came to an end Saturday with a defeat at the hands of the Texas Longhorns. Kansas blew a sizable first half lead to lose 74-63 to Texas, their first loss at home in almost four years (last loss Feb 7, 2007 to Texas A&M).This was one of the great streaks in College Basketball, hats off to the Jayhawks - keep in mind this is spoken from the heart of a Missouri fan, I absolutely hate the Jayhawks and root against them no matter who they play, but 69 in a row is one hell of a win streak. I am only hoping that this starts an equally impressive home losing streak. Their next two home games are against Kansas State and Missouri.
Speaking of Missouri, the Tigers spanked the visiting Iowa State Cyclones 
on a late Saturday game. All the Tigers' starters scored in double digits and the game was not in question from the opening tip. You gotta feel bad for the Cyclones as they play short handed waiting for several transfer players who have to sit out the season. Most of the year Iowa State Head Coach Fred Hoiberg has been playing just 7 players - he played eight against the Tigers.
